Sallie Chaballier

Sallie Chaballier is a native of the American Midwest but has lived most of her adult life in Europe and is a dual citizen of the US and France. She holds a BA from Yale University and an MA from Harvard University, and worked for many years as a political analyst. In recent years, Sallie has devoted her time and energy to leadership positions in non-profit organizations. She served for 7 years on the FAWCO Board, including two years as FAWCO President (2017-2019) and remains active as a Counselor to the FAWCO Board. In 2022, Sallie was appointed to the FAWCO UN Team as a representative to the NGO Committee on the Status of Women in Geneva, bringing together her abiding commitments to human rights and feminism. She was elected to the Executive Bureau of NGO CSW Geneva in April 2024. As a member of the NGO CSW Geneva UNECE Task Force, Sallie worked for over a year on the Beijing +30 review process.
