Berthe De Vos-Neven

Treasurer and Advocacy Coordinator: Berthe de Vos Neven Soroptimist International

Berthe De Vos-Neven is a distinguished professional with an LLM degree and over 35 years of international experience as a lawyer, human resources manager, having worked across Belgium, Switzerland, the United States, the Middle East, and Russia.


Since joining Soroptimist International Belgium in 2013, she has served as its Main Representative to the United Nations in Geneva from 2019, actively advocating for women’s rights within CEDAW, the Human Rights Council, and the ILO. She also
contributes to UN initiatives on eliminating violence en acces to education for all women and girls and supports key processes such as the Commission on the Status of Women and the Beijing +30 reviews, leading to her election as Vice-President of NGO CSW Geneva in 2021.


Her strong legal background and extensive expatriate experience enhance her ability to navigate complex international frameworks while maintaining a deep commitment to charitable work supporting all women and girls.


She is currently the Director of Advocacy Elect of Soroptimist International.
