The NGO CSW Geneva Working Group on Poverty seeks to enhance the cooperation of the members of NGO CSW Geneva on SDG # 1 “No Poverty”. Sustainable Development Goal 1, established by the United Nations in 2015, calls for the end of poverty in all forms. The Working Group plans to strengthen relations with the representatives of the Working Group on the Right to Development which meets annually in Geneva and the representatives of the NGO Committee on Social Development in Geneva which follows the Commission on Social Development (CSocD) and focuses on three main goals: Poverty Eradication, Productive and Full Employment, and Social Inclusion.
